Balloonny™ is a rabbit with a balloon body.
They have no hind legs, but they can hop around and even soar high into the sky like a balloon.
They are not tied to anything.
Balloon + Bunny
Balloonny™ was created by Los Angeles–based artist Nat B in 2020. The character was inspired by the heartbreaking reality of baby rabbits being sold as Easter gifts for children in downtown Los Angeles. While children may initially delight in their tiny, fluffy companions, that excitement often fades. Many families don’t know how to care for rabbits properly, and when the animals fall ill, medical bills can be overwhelming, especially since only exotic specialists can treat them, and most insurance policies in California don’t cover rabbits. Every year, countless bunnies are abandoned, left to face an uncertain fate.
Balloonny™ is a gentle reminder that rabbits—and all animals—are not toys or gifts to be discarded. They deserve love, care, and the right to enjoy their lives until they cross the rainbow bridge.

Meet Noble the Rabbit
The original design of balloonny™ included hind legs; it was essentially a rabbit with a balloon-shaped body.
In 2020, Noble, one of Nat B's rabbits, lost his right hind leg in an accident. He has been hopping on one hind leg ever since. Thanks to rabbits’ incredible physical adaptability, Noble can hop and binky around as if he had never lost a leg. He sometimes needs a human’s assistance when his right ear is itchy and he can’t scratch it himself, but otherwise, he can flop, relax, and jump on his single hind leg. He can go anywhere freely, just like a balloon.
Noble’s adaptability added a unique dimension to the original concept of balloonny™ and influenced the character’s current form.
On February 18, 2024, Noble embarked on an endless adventure to find his lost leg.
